The plans for the casino are coming out. I’m all for this. So much revenue would come into the area.
I just don’t think this is going to work out as well as people think it will. First, I don’t feel like the downtown crowd is typically the target market for a casino. As far as location goes, why would you go downtown to a casino where you will pay for parking when you could just head to Mystic Lake? Also, in general I think casino’s end up being a wash when you factor in the negative affects on society that come with gambling. My 2 cents.
